Out of the Cradle Endlessly Rocking

After a wonderful time in New York for the New York Antiquarian Book Fair, we are back in Boston and ready to resume our regularly scheduled posting. Therefore, in celebration of National Poetry Month, we present Walt Whitman's Out of the Cradle Endlessly Rocking, printed by Richard Bigus.

One of 65 copies signed by Bigus and printed in several colors on Japanese Hosho paper. In this stunning typographic achievement, Bigus has taken Whitman’s poetic vision and rendered it visually. The book is one of the finest examples of concrete printing and is one of Richard Bigus’s most important publications.
